This is a house in our neighborhood that is on our walk route. It has been empty for about 3 years and it makes me sad every time we pass it.
It has a great circular walkway you can see in the pic that should have a beautiful garden in it but is instead full of weedy violets. There is still a concrete post near the street that was used as a place to tie horses. Every season it looks more and more depressing and it kills me that there are neighborhoods popping up on the edge of town with shitty new construction houses, and this gem keeps sitting here, empty, crumbling a little more each year.

Houses in the Haight District of San Francisco, California, USA by Podiceps60.  I personally don’t know if these are considered Victorian or if it’s the paint job that makes them look Victorian or if it’s all the Victorian embellishments especially on the left house.  They’re beautiful anyway.
